Only dry-clean to preserve the architectural structure and natural properties. Do not use starch on silk when dry cleaning. Never hand wash or machine wash.

Gently wipe spills with cold water, use mild shampoo and clean the particular stain. Avoid harsh rubbing.

Never hang silk in direct sunlight to prevent UV fading.

Breathable Storage
Store silk in light cotton muslin to allow breathing space and prevent tangling.

Air out every few months to keep the silk vibrant. Plastic suffocates fibres and oxidises gold/silver zari.
